Why I’m supporting Nikki Haley for President in 2024

Nikki started working in her families clothing business, became its treasurer and then went on to become President of the National Association of Women Business Owners of America.-Wikipedia.org.

“In 2004, Haley ran for the South Carolina State House against a 30 year incumbent Republican lawmaker in the primary, and won. She took on the old guard culture and pushed for tax cuts and transparency, when both parties voted to increase their benefits. As retaliation, they blackballed Haley, removed her from committee’s and attempted to end her career.”

“So she ran for Governor and won. She was the youngest Governor in the country and first minority female Governor in America.”

“During her time as Governor, South Carolina was a national economic leader. Known as “The Beast of the Southeast,” the states unemployment rate hit a 15 year low, saw over $20 billion in new capital investment…” “Gov. Haley brought sweeping reform to South Carolina. She passed ethics reforms and signed into law a bill that required lawmakers to put their votes “on the record.”

“Gov. Haley improved education and empowered parents by signing a charter school bill that expanded school choice.”

“The people of South Carolina decisively re-elected her in 2014. Two years later, she was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.”

“In 2016, President Trump nominated Gov. Haley to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. In that role, she also served as a member of the President’s cabinet and on the National Security Council. As Ambassador, Haley defended U.S. interests, kept our country safe and championed human rights.”-nikkihaley.com

Nikki was born in 1972, in Bamburg, South Carolina. She is a Sikh Indian and converted to Methodist Christianity in 1997. Nikki and Michael Haley, a Methodist Christian, met at Clemson University. They married in 1996 and have 2 children. Michael was a combat veteran in Afghanistan in 2013. He’s also an officer in the South Carolina Army National Guard. -Wikipedia.org.

Conclusion: Our great President Trump did a lot of good things for our country, in spite of the entire government relentlessly going after him for one thing or another. Yes, the 2020 election was stolen, but the state laws being what they were, there was no recourse. There was no recourse with the Supreme Court. As a result, several states have changed election laws and rules, so to limit the obvious cheating the next time around. I don’t believe President Trump can win this time. He lives in the past, continually rants about the past and has no plan about how to bring our very divided country together again. No vision of the future, except to go after the Deep State; a Presidency based on getting revenge. We need to move forward as a country. I personally, am Trump exhausted, and if it’s gotten to me, who was one of his biggest supporters in the 2016 election, I can just imagine how people really feel. The last straw for me was when he called Gov. DeSantis, Gov. DeSanctimonious. There’s no reason for this and I’m exhausted also from the childish behavior; except he will brutally attack anyone and everyone who is going up against him, potentially, or disagrees with him publicly.

I absolutely don’t think Gov. DeSantis is anywhere near being Presidential material. He is a great Governor, but he’s already flip-flopped on Ukraine; he has no national or international experience.

Nikki Haley aligns with all of my positions, nationally and internationally, especially Ukraine, where she’s all in. I think she has the experience, background; especially working internationally with all the nations of the world in the U.N.. I don’t like how President Trump is too buddy, buddy with Putin and fantasizes that the war will be over in one day after he’s in office. I want Ukraine to rightfully win their entire country back and be whole again; and they will. Vote for Nikki. / Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸

  1. Ok then. You’re early in the game. Don’t know who I’ll be voting for but it probably won’t be Trump. I need someone to give me a vision of the present and the future, not constantly a ranting of the past. So I hear what you said, keep it in mind and see how the future year plays out. Who knows, I too might be a Haley follower. One never knows. I will certainly be keeping my ears tuned in.

  2. Thanks for sharing some of your perspective on Haley. It would be nice to have a woman president especially one who actually can get things done! I agree about both Ron and Trump, I’m over them both.
