Child Protective Services. The Dark Side.

Nancy Schaefer, former Republican Georgia State Senate, 50th District: “I believe Child Protective Services (CPS) nationwide has become corrupt and that the entire system is broken beyond repair. I am convinced parents and families should be warned of the dangers.”- parentalrights.org. 9/25/2008.

“CPS has become a “protected empire” built on taking children and separating families. This is not to say they’re are those children who do need to be removed from wretched situations and need protection.”

“I had witnessed the “Gestapo” at work and I witnessed the deceitful conditions under which children were taken in the middle of the night, out of hospitals, off of school buses and out of homes.” A private drug testing company, operating within Georgia’s agency, made over $100,000. in drug tests.-parentalrights.org. 9/25/2008.

“I am convinced there is no responsibility and no accountability in the CPS system.”…”I have concluded: poor parents are targeted to lose their children because they do not have the money to hire lawyers and fight the system. Being poor does not mean you are not a good parent, or that you do not love your child; or that your child should be removed and placed with strangers.”…”All parents are capable of making mistakes…that does not mean your children are to be removed from the home. Even if the home is not perfect, it is home, and that’s where a child is safest and where he or she wants to be, with family.”

“Parenting classes, anger management classes, counseling and therapy classes, are demanded of parents with no compassion by the system, even while the parents are at work…this can take months or even years and it emotionally devastates both children and parents.”

“Parents are victimized by “the system” that makes a profit for holding children longer and “bonuses” for not returning children to their parents….caseworkers and social workers are very often guilty of fraud. They withhold and destroy evidence. They fabricate evidence and seek to terminate parental rights unnecessarily. However, when charges are made against CPS, the charges are ignored.”

“The separation of families and the “snatching of children” is growing as a business because local governments have grown accustomed to having these taxpayer dollars to balance their ever expanding budgets.” …”CPS and Juvenile courts can always hide behind a confidentiality clause in order to protect their decisions and keep the money flowing.”

“There are state employees, lawyers, court investigators, guardians, court personnel, judges, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, caseworkers, therapists, foster parents, adoptive parents, social workers and on and on. All looking to the children in state custody to provide job security.”

“The adoptive and safe families act, in 1974, by Walter Mondale, and later in 1997 by Pres. Bill Clinton, offered “cash bonuses” to states for every child they adopted out of foster care. In order to receive the bonuses, CPS needs children (merchandise). Bonuses range from $4,000-$6,000. per child, adopted out to strangers. An additional $2,000. for a “special needs” child. States and local communities work hard to reach their goals for increased number of adoptions.”…”Victims get no help from legislators. There are no financial resources to unite a family and keep them together.”

“It is a known fact children are in more danger in foster care than they are in their own home, even though home may not be perfect.”…”The National Center on Child Abuse and Neglect reported in 1998 that 6 times as many children died in foster care than in the general public, and that once removed to “safety”, these children are more likely to suffer abuse, sexual molestation, than the general population. I have witnessed such injustice and harm brought to so many families that I’m not sure if I even believe reform of the system is possible. The system cannot be trusted. It does not serve the people. It obliterates families and children simply because it has the power to do so.”- parentalrights.org. 9/25/2008.

Conclusion: Nancy Schaefer and her husband were subsequently murdered, reportedly a murder-suicide, but it was a “murder made to look like a suicide.”- Baptistpress.com. 3/29/10. Child Protective Services is a huge business, big in corruption, big in abusing children, big on taking advantage of the poor, and the powers in charge surely did not appreciate the light shining on all the cockroaches. Nancy Schaefer was an American hero. / Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸

  1. Nancy Schaefer and her husband should never have died. But people who get in the way of bad people procuring incentivized money, do not live to see the next day! Despicable 🥵
