Gab social media site and hate speech

On 10/30/2018, there was an article written by Eddie Krassenstein on Hillreporter.com. Now, he and his brother Brian are 2 lefty’s who I really don’t care for both of them. But the point of his article was Gab management, which is the owner, Andrew Torba, is anti-semitic. He and his brother Brian were attacked personally on social media. But, backing up a bit, the shooter at the Tree of Life Synagogue on 10/27/2018, Robert Bowers, used Gab to spread hate. Quote: “It was then right before entering the synagogue and taking the lives of 11 people, Bowers announced on Gab: “Screw your optics, I’m going in.” “Torba played the victim card, downplay’s he’s anti-semitic and believes his web platform is under attack.”

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Torba is attacking Brian Krassenstein, saying “Dude named “Krassenstein”, doesn’t support free speech. Imagine my shock.” Torba then stated: “It’s time for open borders for Israel. Not enough diversity.” Torba then tweets: “Maybe you should move to Israel or something…In America, we have this thing called the 1st Amendment.”

“Eddie Krassenstein stated: “For the record, when I tweeted at Gab, pointing out these tweets exhibited anti-semitism, the platform that claims they are all about “free speech”, blocked me on Twitter, preventing me from speaking freely in response to their own comments. Gab also blocked my brother Brian, soon after.”

Conclusion: To Andrew Torba, hate speech is free speech. When social media fans the flames of hate speech, and drives a group, organization, individual, to take aggressive action against others; for example, Hitler fanning the flames of hate speech in Nazi Germany. Hitler used social media, speeches to enormous crowds, to spread hate. Using Gab, Twitter, or any other social media company, to spread hate, is the same thing.

Now, being on Gab for about 4 months now, I’ve seen lots of Anti-Jewish, anti-Israel hate. Lots of bastardized versions of the Jewish Star; Judaism referred to as the synagogue of satan. All this is a result of Torba, who allows it, encourages it, enables it. It starts from the top and filters down.

So therefore there’s a large group of Torba’s flying monkeys who spew this Jewish, Israel hatred. This is why, I’m being Jewish, I’m NOT a fan of Gab and I basically use it to post the news of the day, what’s going on in Israel, plus other pertinent articles that I’ve read on various subjects.

It’s funny, not funny, how people get a little taste of power like Torba, Jack, Zuckerberg, etc., and they get drunk with it. What’s the point of having Congressional hearings and these social media honchos lie their asses off, and there’s no consequences. Waste our tax money, our time, with these farcical hearings, and nothing is ever accomplished. The phone that you innocently hold in your hand that you control, for a number of years now, will eventually become something that will control you. / Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸
