Opinion: Why President Trump shouldn’t run again

I personally, was all in for President Trump ever since he came down the escalator, to announce he was running for President. All of the D.C. Swamp hated him, and that’s why WeThePeople loved him. He didn’t need to run, but he saw our great Country’s government was broken, and he wanted to fix it. Whenever you asked someone why they didn’t like President Trump, it always came down to his personality. Well, electing the President of the United States, isn’t a personality contest.

As President, President Trump has a list of 121 accomplishments made by himself and his Cabinet. As you Google the list of Trump Administration Accomplishments, by McLeanCountyRepublicans.org., all accomplishments were made with WeThePeople in mind. We became energy independent and the world’s largest producer of crude oil; He created Space Force, our sixth military branch; He signed laws benefiting the poor, lowest paid workers. Signed laws benefiting Blacks, Hispanics, Asian Americans, Native Americans, mothers, veterans, HIV patients, The First Step Act , a criminal justice reform bill; appointed 5 openly gay Ambassadors; fought against sex trafficking, fought for school choice so parents can move their child out of a failing school; our economy was on fire, and under control, etc. “Trump did all this while fighting flagrant abuse and impeachment charges and a 97% negativity reporting by major media.”- mcleancountyrepublicans.org.

The attempts by our government to rid themselves of the outsider, never ended. The Mueller hearings, the impeachment, now the Jan. 6th report, the raid on Mar-A-Lago, the disclosure of his personal tax returns, etc. Why ? Because he wasn’t part of “The Club.” The Club includes both parties and everyone who works for the government, and all of its agencies.

We all saw with our own eyes the 2020 election was fixed and the glaringly, obvious cheating that occurred, to make Biden President. After 10 pm E.S.T., the voting graphs showed Biden’s numbers going up in straight lines in the key 6 swing states. In hearings before these state legislatures after the election, statisticians testified that it’s statistically impossible for voting lines to go straight up. We all saw with our own eyes, ballots being carted into polling places at 1-2 am, or ballots in suitcases under tables, in election counting rooms, being taken over to voting machines.

WeThePeople cannot unsee what we saw with our own eyes. Yet, all the State legislature hearings, eyewitness testimony, Supreme Court inaction, all deemed themselves incapable of overturning the results; with the nail in the coffin being Vice President Pence.

Now, given all of this, it’s very understandable President Trump feels cheated, because he was. As a result, President Trump lives and rants daily, in the past. We, as a country, need to move forward. Only State legislatures can change their own election laws to make it more difficult to cheat. Obviously, as a result, this is what’s happening. His ranting isn’t going to change anything, except chip away from his base of supporters. His assault on the Constitution didn’t help. His inviting Kanye West, to Mar-A-Lago, just after Kanye’s idiotic comments about Jewish people, and Kanye bringing his Nazi friend, Nick Fuentes with him, to Mar-A-Lago, was a public relations disaster. People are becoming Trump exhausted.

The “red wave” in the midterms didn’t happen. Several people who were endorsed by President Trump lost, most probably due to his endorsement of bad candidates. He won’t have a Senate majority in 2024. Another rape accusation hovers over his head. Ivanka and Jared Kushner stated they are not going to be involved in this election.

Then, there’s Trump calling Governor DeSantis, “Governor DeSanctimonious,” because DeSantis poses the greatest threat to President Trump, as the Republican nominee. For me, personally, this was it. I’ve had enough of this childish behavior, not to mention those stupid hero cards.

Also, I’m all for Ukraine. They are actually fighting for freedom and Democracy, and not live under Putin’s thumb. Just as we did, over 250 years ago, fighting against England. I want Ukraine 🇺🇦 to outright win this war against Russia. Plus, we don’t have our boots on the ground. Whatever monies we have committed to Ukraine, as of today, “represents 5.6 % of our total U.S. defense spending.”-CEPA.org. 11/18/22. So basically, it’s costing us peanuts for Russia to be defeated, and at the rate Ukraine is proceeding, it will set Russia back 50 years or more, to recover from the effects of this war. I don’t like that President Trump was so buddy, buddy with Putin and might insist on a deal being made, monies cut off, to Ukraine, when Ukraine is on the verge of victory. Then Putin will look to merge Belarus, Moldova, and the rest of the old Soviet Union countries, back into Russia. That’s always been Putin’s ultimate goal.

Conclusion: From the day President Trump was cheated out of winning the election, I think he’s lost more popularity in our country, than he had, before the election. Instead of dwelling on the past, and coming to the realization that you cannot change the outcome with your mouth; having a better attitude like: “We’re going to get you next time,” would have served him better. As Maya Angelou once said: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you’ve said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget the way you made them feel.” / Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸

  1. This was excellent detailing of why Trump should not run a third time. He’s had his day in the sun and then he spoke stupidly so that I don’t think most of us want him to run again. I definitely don’t want him to. He should make way for those who could win. We need a new Republican in the White House.

  2. & don’t forget that there would be no war in Ukraine 🇺🇦 if Trump were still President. I’ll never forget that handshake that pulled in Putin that boldly screamed, “I’m in control, you little pip-squeak!” I’m voting for Trump a third time. The border was never more secure when Trump was President. As Mark Morgen keeps saying on Newsmax…the “millions of gottaways” are infiltrating the country & the fentanyl they bringing with them to kill Americans. ..& also inflation, crime & disrespect of cops & soldiers now…
Trump Come Back!!! Nobody else can fix this mess!
