Steve Sund, Former Capitol Police Chief, testifying before Jan. 6 Committee

Steve Sund, Former Capitol Police Chief, “testified before the Jan. 6 Committee for more than 6 hours and the Committee never released a word of it…Sund testified he asked for the National Guard to help secure the Capitol on Jan. 3, 2021, but was rebuffed. He said: “To feel more comfortable, I wanted more personnel on my perimeter…I first went over to House Sargent of Arms, Paul Irving’s office at 9:24 am and asked him specifically, I would like to request National Guard for Jan.6…so, he immediately responded: “I don’t like the optics.” I responded, “you know, I’d like them to help support the perimeter.” And he goes, “the intelligence doesn’t support that.”….”Sund makes the case that Irving was doing Pelosi’s bidding, and that she didn’t like the optics. Of course, Pelosi’s and/ or Irving’s testimony before the committee could help clear these things up, but the committee won’t release it.”- newsnationnow.com. 12/7/22.

Sund also said: “And also, you think of the oversite put in place for the Capitol Police, it’s political oversight that reports to political parties within Congress, no matter how you cut it…when your oversight of a Police Department is reporting to a political party, that’s a recipe for disaster.”

Sund: “Whether it’s the FBI, The Department of Homeland Security, or my own intelligence unit, it seemed that intelligence on that day was treated differently, with no assessments, no joint intelligence bulletins being put together.”

“Meanwhile, Sund also took aim at the Jan. 6 committee, saying it wasn’t looking at the situation from a security angle, but rather, a political one. When it comes to their final report, it isn’t “focusing on security” like it needs to be.”

“Trump is another person Sund is upset with, he said.”…”When I look at it, the big concern I have is he brought a group to Washington, D.C., fired them up, and sent them off to the Capitol and didn’t do anything to de-escalate the situation, Sund said.”….Seeing how agitated the group was, and during the rally and again, seeing the images that I was watching on tv of my men and women being beaten…it would have been great to have him step in and give my men and women a little bit of assistance.”-newsnationnow.com. 12/22.

Conclusion: Yes, I do blame President Trump for Jan. 6. Sending an angry, fired up crowd, bent on taking action against the stolen election, could not end well. Regardless, if you think the FBI, Antifa or your momma, was involved behind the scenes. Trump should never have directed the group to go to the Capitol./ Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸
