How does one know what to believe ?

It’s a very good question and there not one answer. Anyone who digs for truth, has their own unique way. I, for one, start with my basic sources of news that I can trust. Daily Wire, Zero Hedge, Justthenews, Western Journal, Truth Press, Conservative News. I don’t watch tv often. I do trust Mark Levin and Newt Gingrich. I did catch Brian Kilmeade’s segment on President Zelensky. With Ukraine, I started by looking into Zelensky himself. With any search engine, Google, etc., you have to sift through a lot of garbage first, before you start hitting gold (truth). I concluded in the very beginning, this guy is for real. He’s nobody’s puppet. He’s fighting tooth and nail for freedom, for his people, his country. Ukrainians would rather die fighting than be under the thumb of Putin. Then, I looked into Putin. Putin, all his life from a very early age, always lamented the break up of the Soviet Union. He’s been involved over his 20 years as President in various former Soviet countries, trying to undermine their sovereignty and put in place Russian puppets as their Presidents.

I’m 66 years old and I lived through the Cold War, all the Russian propaganda. Only Gorbachev was a breath of fresh Russian air. Every Russian President before and afterwards, was the same old Russsia.

Being on Twitter for 4 years, getting suspended, being on Gab for about a year and now Truth Social, there was this narrative from the very beginning. That Putin’s the hero here and Zelensky is a puppet. Then yesterday, I wrote a paper on my site here entitled: ”My thoughts on Putin, a tyrannical dictator.”

It’s a direct result that WeThePeople don’t trust our government anymore, therefore it ”logically” follows, that anything Putin was saying must be true. It ”logically” follows that if the Dems are for Ukraine, then WeThePeople, must back Putin. It “logically” follows that if Candace Owens is tweeting ”Russian lives matter,” when last year, she was slamming Black Lives Matter and insinuating that all lives matter, then how does Ukrainian lives, all of a sudden, don’t matter? I don’t ”learn” anything from the social media “stars”, such as Candace. Even Tucker and Dan Bongino were riding the bioweapons wave of bullshit.

I’ve come to conclude, social media stars, will promote the popular narrative, just for the sake of maintaining their popularity, which in turn, translates into dollars and followers. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Zelensky is corrupt. I asked her several times to prove it. Crickets. Because it’s the popular narrative. I asked her to expose all the corrupt Congress people that surround her in Congress, by naming names. Crickets. Once they’re in Congress, whoever they are, they’re all one big club and you ain’t in it, as George Carlin said. The only Congressman I respect is Jim Jordan. I respect Gov. DeSantis. I think I like Gov. Kristi Noem, but I haven’t completely researched her entirely yet.

If someone makes a statement, such as ”CIA funded Ukrainian Nazi troops”… prove it. Just because 10,000 parrots are saying the same line, doesn’t prove anything or make it true. Show me the proof, your source, and I will determine for myself if I believe it or not.

Conclusion: So the bottom line here, is think for yourself. Be very distrusting of broad based statements without any proof to back it up. Social media, tv, journalism, has become a quagmire of information overload. Just constantly dig for truth yourself, regardless what a majority of people are spewing, supporting, doesn’t make it truth. / Done

I started out a little nothing on Twitter 5 years ago. I always had a love for research, writing, digging for the truth. My very first writing class in Queens College, after I wrote my first paper, my Professor wanted to talk to me after class. Before I even sit down in her office, she says to me: “You’re very talented.” I said thank you, I appreciate that, but I’m also a practical kid. I knew pursuing writing out of college wasn’t a guaranteed job, so I became a Pharmacist. Now, as a Pharmacist for 44 years and an owner for 30 years, I now can devote time to my passion. My very first threaded tweet on Twitter was a hit, about how Sonny Bono was murdered, because even as a kid, I never believed that story that he died by slamming into a tree while skiing. It got a great response on Twitter and motivated me to do more research and writing. I was suspended from Twitter, but I always wrote on paper before writing on Twitter, and kept all my writings. I developed Thawts.net and took almost a year to rewrite everything onto my site. Now, anything I write is new stuff and about any subject of my choice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Sincerely, Harvey Staub 👍🇺🇸

  1. A very god map for finding “your own” truth. It also helps to know exactly what your own beliefs are.
